Today's man
has cut the aspirations
of common marginal man
he wants to grab
every penny in his pocket
he wants to run and win
the race without a destination
he just shows the dim ray
through the fog of suffering
he builds large dams
in the great river of pain
the common man
just remains a polestar
in the firmament of hopes and joys
