Unfurl the tri-colour
with jest and fervour
thou! are not just a flag
thou! are our pride
for thou many kissed the rope to say goodbye
for the nation, for the people, for the
culture
for thou many faced the bullets in their
chests
many left their homes to live for the nation
suffered every torture by maintained their
jests
its time to remember their sacrifices and
celebration
